As we age, not only does the skin become more lax and start to sag, but also the face actually starts to lose volume. We lose muscle and fat, and as a result, the face appears deflated and shadows become apparent under the eyes, in the mid-cheek region, around the mouth and along the jawline. This can lead to an aged or tired appearance.

At the Regeneration Center KISIKON, we offer the latest and most effective options for those seeking to eliminate wrinkles, restore volume or re-tighten the skin. We believe the goal isn’t to completely transform you but to restore a more youthful version of yourself by producing natural-looking results that enhance your appearance.

Botox treatments are injected beneath the skin to eliminate wrinkles by relaxing the muscles of the face.
Botox injections are commonly used for the treatment of forehead lines, frown lines, crow’s feet, bunny lines, gummy smile, jaw line reduction and neck lines. This treatment helps to improve the appearance of wrinkles and fine lines. The procedure involves injection of small amounts of Botox either into the muscle or under the skin. It can take up to 2 weeks for full effects of medicine to appear and effects can last between 3-4 months.

Before and after the procedure

Most people don’t feel much discomfort during the procedure. But you may want your skin numbed beforehand, especially if your palms or soles are being treated for excessive sweating. Your doctor might use one or more of various methods available to numb the area, such as topical anesthesia, ice and vibration anesthesia, which uses massage to reduce discomfort.

Botox injections are usually performed in a doctor’s office. Your doctor uses a thin needle to inject tiny amounts of botulinum toxin into your skin or muscles. The number of injections needed depends on many factors, including the extent of the area being treated.
Do not rub or massage the treated areas for 24 hours. This may help prevent the toxin from spreading to a different area. You can return to your normal activities right after the procedure.

Botox injections usually begin working one to three days after treatment. Depending on the problem being treated, the effect may last three months or longer. To maintain the effect, you’ll need regular follow-up injections.

Dermal Fillers

Dermal fillers are used for facial aesthetic treatments and are injected into the skin. They are designed to effectively reduce the appearance of unwanted wrinkles, contour and create volume, and to revitalise the skin. Dermal fillers are based on Hyaluronic acid which is a substance that naturally exists in your body.

Dermal fillers work by boosting the skin supply of hylaronic acid, dermal fillers revitalise and add volume to the skin , instantly diminishing the appearance of lines and wrinkles, and giving a natural softer look. Dermal fillers are a soft injectable gel consisting of stabilized, non-animal hyaluronic acid. The gel is tissue-friendly and closely resembles the hyaluronic acid that exists naturally in the body. It is long-lasting but not permanent.

Dermal filler injections provide an easy way to reduce the appearance of wrinkles, smooth the skin and give a more youthful appearance. The result of a single treatment can be seen instantly and can last for around 6 to 9 months. Dermal filler injections can give a natural looking result that does not affect facial expression.  As your face changes over time, dermal fillers allow you to control you looks subtly as you age.

Dermal fillers can be used to smooth away facial lines and wrinkles, create fuller lips and shape facial contours, such as cheeks and chin, and revitalise the skin.

Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP) Facial Rejuvenation Treatment

PRP therapy is a treatment which uses your own blood platelets to stimulate new cell growth, helping to improve your complexion, skin texture and to restore lost facial volume. Your blood is essentially made up of four components; red blood cells, white blood cells, the plasma and the platelets.  We take your blood and spin it in a centrifuge, which enables the separation of the blood cells from your plasma and platelets. This is then re-injected into the skin to stimulate collagen and new skin cells.  PRP harnesses the beneficial functions of the patients own platelets and therefore there is no risk of allergy or rejection of the treatment.

PRP improves skin texture and tone and regenerates collagen, helping reduce wrinkles and lines, tackle blemishes, improve scarring and restore a healthy, youthful glow.

Before and after the procedure

Depending on how many areas you want to get treated, a volume of blood will be taken. This is usually between 10 to 30 ml.  Your blood is then placed in a centrifuge for around 8-10 minutes.  Once your cells have separated, the rich platelets are extracted and injected into the skin where rejuvenation is requested.

Most people will experience some mild to moderate swelling in the area of treatment, redness or heat, which are all common side effects and are part of the activation of your platelets. Bruising can occur and may take several days to disappear.

Most patients will require three treatments at four to six week intervals. The first thing people notice is an improvement in skin turgor and elasticity. Collagen production can take up to three months to occur and the results can differ depending on the individual.

Postopek posega in okrevanje

Metoda nekirurškega liftinga je neboleča, med terapijo pa boste občutili le toploto na predelu, kjer se radiofrekvenčna terapija izvaja.

S pomočjo radiofrekvenčne energije segrevamo globoke plasti kože, kar povzroča krčenje kolagena in vzpodbudi tvorbo novega kolagena v koži.

Pellevé is a new type of wrinkle treatment only available through skin care professionals. This non-invasive procedure is often used to tighten sagging skin, a common problem that comes with natural ageing.

Pellevé uses new and advanced radiowave technology to heat the deepest layers of skin without causing any of the skin damage associated with sunburns and skin cancer. There is no anaesthesia needed, because there will be no pain felt during the non invasive procedure. It’s often called the ‘Knifeless Facelift’ because it lifts and firms without the need for a general anaesthetic and a major operation.

Pellevé delivers quick results and is rarely accompanied by side effects or other complications.

Before and after the procedure

Most Pellevé skin tightening candidates have fine lines on the face, or wrinkled or drooping skin. Pellevé is most appropriate for those with mild to moderate wrinkling. The most common areas that are treated are the face and neck. Although other parts of the body can be treated also, such as the back of hands and decolletage.

A popular treatment is to have the under eye area treated alone.

First, a protective gel is applied to the face. Patients say they feel a deep warming sensation when the doctor touches the area being treated with the Pellevé handpiece. No anaesthetic is used, so you will act as a guide to describe the depth of the sensation as the doctor moves the handpiece across your face.

A full facial treatment typically takes about 45 minutes to an hour. Because no anaesthesia is used and any swelling is minor, there is no downtime.

Most people will experience some mild to moderate swelling and redness, but studies have shown that this usually goes away within a few hours to a day.

After the Pellevé treatment, your skin will start to produce new collagen. The result is an improvement in skin quality, firmness and tightness you can see and feel. Additional treatments may improve results, so you should consult with your doctor for a recommended number of treatments.

Mesotherapy is a modern form of therapy that consists of injecting medicines, vitamins and minerals as close as possible to the area that needs treatment. It is an astonishingly effective technique in aesthetic medicine as it treats layers of the skin, which are hardly penetrated by other non-invasive treatments.
Mesotherapy promotes the production of the building blocks of the skin, as well as stimulating your skin’s metabolism, resulting in a rejuvenated, firmer skin. This popular treatment corrects the underlying issues such as poor circulation and inflammation that can cause skin damage.
A course of mesotherapy treatments is required to achieve optimal results. There is no preparation time and minimal downtime.

Before and After the Procedure

The doctor might apply a topical anesthetic on the areas that are to be treated. This, however, depends on your pain tolerance levels. He uses a microneedle to inject the ingredients into the target area. You will receive a series of injections. The injections are delivered at different depths of around 1 to 4 millimeters into your skin. This, again, depends on the skin issue you have.

Depending on the skin issue, its intensity, and the effects, you might need several mesotherapy sessions. The doctor can tell you exactly how many sessions per week you might need to get the desired results.

Because mesotherapy is noninvasive, there usually isn’t any downtime. Many people are able to return to their regular activities right away. Others may need to take a day off due to swelling and pain at the injection sites.

Results appear usually after a course of six treatments and increase over time with new collagen and elastin forming. The effects are long-lasting and typically last around 12 months. Mesotherapy as a single treatment will not give lasting results and treatments should be carried out initially every 1-2 weeks. By injecting these unique cocktails of Hyaluronic Acid and vitamins, mesotherapy promotes the production of collagen and elastin and stimulates the skin’s metabolism producing healthier more radiant skin.

Chemical Peeling

A chemical peel is a technique used to improve the appearance of the skin on the face, neck or hands. A chemical solution is applied to the skin that causes it to exfoliate and eventually peel off. The new, regenerated skin is usually smoother and less wrinkled than the old skin.

Chemical peels can be done on the face, neck, or hands. They can be used to reduce fine lines under the eyes and around the mouth, treat wrinkles caused by sun damage and aging, improve the appearance of mild scars, treat certain types of acne, reduce age spots, freckles, and dark patches (melasma) due to pregnancy or taking birth control pills, improve the look and feel of skin.

Before and After the Procedure

Chemical peels are cosmetic treatments that involve the careful exfoliation of the skin using an acid. The acid removes a uniform amount of damaged skin cells across the treatment area. When done appropriately, this allows the skin to heal, with minimal scarring or color changes as a result of the treatment.

Chemical peels affect two layers of the skin: the epidermis and the dermis. The epidermis is the visible outer layer, and the dermis sits just beneath. This deeper layer contains nerve endings, sweat glands, and hair follicles. A chemical peel removes a controlled amount of skin cells from the epidermis. A stronger peel may also remove a small part of the dermis.

During a chemical peel, a dermatologist applies the exfoliant acid first to the thicker areas of skin, such as the chin, nose, and cheeks, before applying it to the thinner areas around the eyes and mouth. After the chemical peel, the dermatologist may use cool saline compresses to remove any remaining exfoliant.

The results of chemical peels can last anywhere from one month to the rest of your life. The longevity of a chemical peel’s results depends on several factors, but the most significant factor is the strength of the peel.
A light, or superficial, peel produces results that usually last between one and two months. A medium peel’s results will last between two and six months, and the results of a deep peel last forever.

PRX-T33 Biorevitalization Peel

Facial peeling is a medical aesthetic treatment which improves the appearance of the skin through amino acids that are applied with microinjections to facial lines and wrinkles on the neck. This new technique was developed as a new way of achieving bio-rejuvenation without needles, called PRX-T33.
This new method of needle-free bio-rejuvenation has been shown to combat the flaccidity of facial tissue and to act as a bio-rejuvenator of skin, improving its appearance without damaging it. It can be used to remove stretch marks, scars caused by chickenpox and acne and melasma (large blemishes in women which appear before and after pregnancy, and before and after weight gain). It is also recommended as an additional treatment to laser and radiofrequency treatments to enhance the results. PRX-T33 peel can be an option as a basic treatment for the retouching of mini-facials and other cosmetic treatments such as dermal fillers and laser treatment.

Before and After the Procedure

The procedure is non-invasive, painless and achieves the same results as a chemical peel, though without any of the shedding skin effect.

During the procedure the product is applied in a small quantity on the treated area, and actively massaged into the skin until it is fully absorbed. This application is repeated until the desired effect is obtained with clearly fuller skin. On average, the product is applied 2 to 5 times/layers, as above, to get such a result, which also depends on the skin reaction. The product will be applied area by area until the entire surface to be treated has been covered. In the end any residues of the product are removed by a water-soaked cotton pad; the skin will appear smoother, and plumper straight away. A generous amount of a renewal, nourishing and hydrating cream is applied and the appropriate fluid and cream are provided for daily care for home use.

The PRX-T33 therapy is very safe and extremely effective treatment with many benefits.
Though, the most common effects of the procedure include the acquisition of a clearer facial contour due to compaction of the deeper layers of the dermis, narrowing and smoothing of the pores, treatment of oily or dry skin, skin lifting, tightening and firming, noticeable decrease in pigmentation, deep hydration, significant improvement in skin complexion and structure, getting rid of fine lines, small facial wrinkles, uneven skin texture, tuberosity, general improvement in skin quality: the skin become more healthier, radiant, glowing, toned, elastic, hydrated, smoother, lighter and plumper.
