NUTRITION COUNSELING

Today’s major health care problems are increasingly the result of acute and chronic conditions related to poor nutrition. Good nutrition is about learning what to eat to support your body and mind and it’s about making healthy, sustainable choices.
Nutrition consulting can be tailored to meet the treatment needs of patients with diagnoses of specific illnesses, can help reduce complications and/or side effects, and can improve general well being.

Hippocrates: »Let food be thy medicine, and let medicine be thy food.«

What is the procedure of nutrition therapy?

Our nutritional therapist will assess your current eating habits, exercise, medical history, goals and timframes and your view of ‘healthy’.

The InBody Test

InBody test results give you an in-depth look at your body composition broken down into body fat, muscle mass, and water weight. They will break these readings down by each region of your body (i.e., your right arm, left arm, right leg, and left leg).

Anthropometric Measurements

Anthropometric measurements, due to the ease of their assessment in the field, are frequently used as a measure of nutritional status in epidemiological studies. As measures of dietary intake, anthropometric measurements generally represent energy balance (e.g., body mass index and size of body compartments) or diet and environmental influences during childhood (e.g., height).

As part of the consultation process, our nutrition counselor will go through your medical history and assess your current health status he will be able to design an individualized eating plan that considers your individual needs and monitors the implementation of diet therapy on a monthly basis.
